For decades builders installed defective hardboard and OSB siding on millions of homes. Class-action suits were filed against the manufactures of the defective siding because of premature breakdown in their product. Most property owners are unaware that their homes qualify under these class-actions.
In 1999 Siding Claims Services was created to act as an unbiased 3rd party that was on the side of the property owners in these class-action suits. Our goal is to make property owners aware that they qualify under the class-actions, assist them in filing a claim, and maximize the amount of their settlement. SCS has inspected more than 25,000 properties and collected millions of dollars in settlements.
